I'm the Director of Optimization Services at Beanstalk Search Engine Positioning, and site structure has always been of particular interest to me. At work if we feel that the level of competition deserves it we will create a longer campaign which focuses around internal redevelopment and 301ing of the old structure to your new structure to pass the existing links to where they belong. Site structure was also my introduction into SE while constantly rebuilding one of my sites.

Thanks for the great set of links, I've already bookmarked the page.

Nice round-up, Dave. While I've read a couple these articles before, some are new.

It's probably worth mentioning that these PageRank reflow tactics don't just work for PageRank, they're also relevant to people, too.

The fact that certain pages do rank more highly than others on the same website or 'blog means they likely saw more traffic and enjoy a greater number of back-links.

After all, Google simply attempts to mimic the layman & laywoman. So what interests the lidless eye that is Google should also interest other people, too...
