2020 Best SEO Campaign Award for Adobe XD

Adobe sought to establish authority in the UX/UI space for it’s Adobe XD product. Through an integrated SEO and content strategy, we:

  • Generated 25,200 download starts in 7 months.
  • Exceeded monthly traffic goals by 73%.
  • Captured 65 Google Featured Snippets.

Unfortunately they sunset the product in 2023 and no-indexed all the content, which killed their visibility.

I created and lead the strategy that we presented in person at Adobe’s headquarters in the middle of 2019. One of my team members actually fell asleep during part of the presentation which was not funny in the moment, but something I look back on now and laugh because the meeting ended up going really well and it set the wheels in motion for an incredibly successful engagement with the Adobe team.

It was actually the first enterprise brand that we won while at NP Digital and was a huge milestone moment for the agency.

2021 Best SEO Campaign for SoFi (Back to Back!)

SoFi was another large client that I pitched (I was doing all our pitches with our VP of Sales, Nick) and I worked with the SEO Strategist (what’s up Luke!) to help SoFi create a lot of content for a new product they were launching, named SoFi Invest. We built what was essentially a content engine for them and created a ton of non-brand content and helped them build backlinks too so they could rank. We also used this approach for another brand of theirs Lantern, see below). Results were unreal:

  • Increased natural search sessions by 509%.
  • Improved first-page rankings by 414%.
  • Generated over 22,000 new funded accounts (their conversion metric) from organic search

This chart shows traffic for the sofi.com/invest folder, which is what we were working on with them. They also saw a huge increase towards the end of 2024, but I wasn’t involved in that effort as I left the agency in May of 2024 to pursue another opportunity.

2022: Lantern by SoFi (3 Peat!)

Lantern, a SoFi subsidiary, faced a ton of competition from industry giants like NerdWallet and Credit Karma. Working with our SEO strategist (hey Kevin!) our strategy delivered:

  • 561% organic traffic growth year-over-year.
  • 1,164% increase in top Google rankings.
  • 260% increase in conversions.

Here is the chart which showed the traffic to the auto-loans section of their site, which was a focus, along with personal loans too.
